Moose Jaw Soccer Association FC Elite (U11-17 Travelling Teams)
The FC Elite program is the highest level of development and play in our club. It provides players with a more in-depth training program that consists of player and team technical and tactical training, fitness, flexibility, strength, and nutritional training. Team development and positional understanding are the focus as you transition through the ages and program levels.
This program is geared toward those athletes who want to pursue a more advanced and competitive program. Teams in this program will practice twice a week with an additional 1.5 hour tactical session every other week. Exhibition games and tournaments will take place on weekends.
The FC Elite program consists of traveling teams and requires dedicated players and parents to travel to games and tournaments throughout Saskatchewan. Shared travel is possible if arranged by parents or team managers. Teams may collect a carpooling fee in advance to assist other parents who will carpool children with fuel costs.
FC Elite program comes with additional costs. Those costs included in your fees are: training hours, additional tactical sessions, kits, tournament fees up to $150 per player, practice t-shirt, and other team costs. Costs to expect outside of your FC fees will be as follows: team pictures, hotel rooms, travel, food costs, team bonding activities, extra tournament fees, etc.
For an FC team to operate the following positions must be filled by the end of the first week of practice; Team Manager, Parent Assistant Coach, Tournament Event Coordinator. Parent volunteers may only hold one position at a time each season. Failure to have these positions in place will be grounds for the team to fold.
All players U15 and older must volunteer once a week with the club. IF ALL players in an age group fulfill this, we will donate a pre-determined amount to their tournament fund.
